Coin Restoration service is all about restoring rare and semi-rare coins that have been damaged, such as holes, gouges, scratches, nicks, dings, solder, and graffiti through the years. Coins that find themselves in this category are still valuable and very collectable once restored. When restoring a coin, the medal is replaced, the detail is engraved to the proper location and the proper size. After the restoration is completed, we then tone the coin to give a more natural look. Stockton started resoring coins in the late 1950's and continued to restore coins by himself until 1991 when I joined him. Since then he has retired and I have taken up where he has left off. Both my father and myself are members of the American Numismatic Association. | ||||
